	Workshops at Stitchncraft Beads All our workshops are held in our Studio in Semley just outside of Shaftesbury. BOOKING INFORMATION FEE All full day adult classes, unless otherwise stated, run from 10am - 4.00pm. Tea and coffee will be provided and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch. You can pre-order lunch from the Farmhouse for £5.00 payable on the day. Lunch will consist of a selection on sandwiches and pastry. Lunch must be pre-ordered by the specified date which will be sent to you with your Workshop Confirmation and Requirements List, approximately 4 weeks prior to the workshop. CANCELLATION Should the workshop have to be cancelled we will refund your fee in full. We regret that refunds cannot be given in any other circumstances and course fees or deposits are not transferable. HANDLING FEE Please note that although a 60p handling charge is automatically added to your shopping cart this will NOT be charged to your credit card unless other mail order goods are purchased PAYMENT We will only take a 50% non refundable deposit at time of ordering with the balance due 4 weeks prior to the workshop date when we will take the remaining 50% on your credit card. Any workshops booked within 4 weeks of the workshop date will have the full amount taken at time of ordering. Also for Taster Session bookings full payment will be taken when you place your order.

	September 2010



	In The Studio for September... This month sees an exhibition of beadwork from US bead artist Laura McCabe This month we have a wonderful exhibition of work from international tutor, author and designer Laura McCabe. On display will be new pieces that Laura has been working on over the last couple of years. She produces elaborately beaded body adornment that combines Native American, African Zulu, and Victorian beadweaving techniques with modern materials and colour schemes. 	Taster - Beaded Watch Band - Wednesday 8th September 2-4pm Make a delightful beaded watch strap using CRYSTALLIZED™- Swarovski Elements crystals and pearls. Quick and easy to make you could have one for every outfit! There will be an additional cost of £5.30 for the watch face plus a clasp of your choice (individual prices apply). This 9-session programme will introduce students to the most popular beading techniques and the materials & equipment used. Each session will include a worksheet on how to use the technique to produce a necklace, bracelet or earrings. Book and pay for all 9 sessions to receive a 10% discount on the total course fee. 	Georgian Jewels - Saturday 2nd October Laura McCabe This unique design is a modern interpretation of the elaborate jewels of the Georgian period (1780-1830). It features six vintage Swarovski dentelles, three of which are bezeled and three of which are “prong” set using a unique herringbone/peyote stitch combination to create very structural forms Click on the picture to view larger image. 	TASTER SESSIONS Workshop Fees Taster Sessions run from 2.00pm - 4.00pm (unless otherwise stated) and cost £15.00 per person including materials and use of tools, as required, on the day. Materials will be sufficient for the project and any additional requirements will be at the students own expense. We will provide hand outs for the Student to take home. Refreshments will be provided. Cancellation We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to one week prior to the event if there are insufficient numbers. Should the workshop have to be cancelled we will refund your fee in full. We regret that refunds cannot be given in any other circumstances and course fees or deposits are not transferable. Bookings You may reserve your place by telephone or on our secure website. Full payment will be due at time of booking.
